إطلاق منحة الدكتور راتب الشلاح للطلاب المتفوقين في الجامعة العربية الدولية

With great pride and honor, Bank of Syria and overseas BSO (represented by its General Manager, Mr. Michel Azzam) and Dr. Rateb Shallah Foundation for Education and Empowerment (represented by its president, Mr. Omar Shallah) have each signed a cooperation agreement with the Arab International University AIU (represented by its chairman, Arch. Muhsen Maksoud) to launch “Dr. Rateb Shallah Scholarship“. This program is dedicated to support outstanding students (in the Faculty of Business Administration) with scholarships subject to specific terms and conditions.

This meaningful initiative pays tribute to the enduring legacy of the late Dr. Shallah, former Chairman of BSO Board of Directors and commemorates the values he passionately upheld throughout his life. Dr. Shallah firmly believed that investing in education is the most powerful path to developing societies.

This scholarship embodies BSO Board of directors’ vision and reinforces its deep-rooted commitment to social responsibility within the framework of nurturing academic excellence, rewarding diligence and perseverance, and empowering talented students to achieve their full potentials, excel in their fields and build a brighter future.

In this context, we highly commend the visionary leadership of Mr. Omar Rateb Shallah for establishing “Dr. Rateb Shallah Foundation for Education and Empowerment“, a remarkable initiative that marks a continuation of his late father’s mission.

This foundation will contribute to supporting educational, social and developmental sectors, enhancing the quality of education and expanding learning and training opportunities for students, etc.
